A short visit from Kymel

So I was visiting with Kymel Kilsek the other day. Asked him what the hell was up with consorting with Harpers and Kenji, I mean wasn't he dead?

Kymel just tossed his head and laughed, saying he couldn't say too much but that cloning great warriors he has met has been invaluable for training his durshnoveel. Durshnoveel? Steel-eyed ones is the best translation I can make of the word. It also means unflinching in the face of great adversity, unwavering, unstoppable etc.

He laughed and said after his exploits in the Moonsea area and slaying Tootonus of Iron Fang keep he infiltrated the Bregan D'aerthe and thence on to Jarlaxle's Masquerade to locate more great warriors of the fighting arts. He said he left the Masquerade in such a mess that most of the cells wont trust each other anymore and that Jarlaxle himself has washed his hands of it. Jarlaxle was so wrattled by the experience that he ended up taking his mercenaries to Calimport for some surface world merchant work which ended so disastrously that Jarlaxle is now traveling the surface world for a time with his companion Artemis Entreri.

He boasted of his joining of the harpers and gaining great material for better clones. He then met an old friend that recently moved to Daggerfalls and helped him out with a few Zhentarim that were living in the area. Something to do with his Moonsea adventures and aid to the old "Fat Man".

I took in our conversation as I always do, with mistrust. My conversations with him are always cordial but this time he seemed a bit preditorial, as if things had been going his way long enough so that long term goals could be realized. It is a look that is hard to hide on a drow face. The eager hunter, about to pounce on prey that never sees it coming. So, I took a few jabs to see what I could pry out. Kymel took exception to my prying and decided to unnerve me. He has never done that before.

He took me on a little portal hopping trip around Earth, just to let me know, that the drow are truely everywhere. I am glad I brought my camera. Just remember, you saw it here first. Don't tell anyone or who knows what they might do. The Hin have a saying, "Walk softly, for the drow have very long ears." As a DM of the Realms I am somewhat hardened to the secrets I must bear. It wasn't till late at night when I was putting these pictures on file that I realized that all of these shots were taken in the daylight!
